I absolutely love this thing. Fry’s things crispy. Did a Bloomin Onion that had a sautee type flavor, probably because of the spraying with oil. I made french fries cauliflower with some breading And they were all great. When you are in the mood though for something greasy and deep fried like a veggie basket it’s not the same but amazing nonetheless. And it’s healthy!

I’m going to be honest with you.
I’ve been having this Air Fryer for about two weeks and it’s been remarkable. Very simple to use, it’s all touch screen and it also comes with as quick cooking guide.I started out with basic foods at first (curly fries, shrimp, and chicken) also just recently made Hotwings with it! They came out crispy exactly how I like them. I also checked out YouTube videos to get an idea for certain foods and the timing for the food. However, I didn’t exactly see the W.C. Chef Air Fryer on there so I went what most videos go off of. My only complaint is that this Air Fryer’s temperature only reaches 400 degrees. Which for me now isn’t a problem, I just leave the food in longer. You’ll still get that crunchy/crispy. Also, I’m not too sure if many other Air Fryers go higher than 400 degrees or if that’s most.Overall, I really enjoy using the West Coast Chef Air Fryer. It’s treated my food well and it has made things a lot more smoother. I plan on trying out a steak!

The Booklet and Basket
I am somewhat disappointed. The booklet that came with it had virtually no information regarding possible recipes and how to cook things. The basket came out of its locked position causing the basket holder to fall on the floor. I have to make sure I have a pad or glove to hold on to the 2 piece basket when bringing it out of the unit. The automatic french fry setting crisps the fries and onion rings to over done. I am not overjoyed with my purchase. I suppose I will have to continue trial and error until I figure this out or throw it away and try something else. Sorry.

Little Difficult to Understand Interface, but Seems to Work
So, waited until the first one was replaced. The customer service was a bit difficult to handle my request and be respectful. The first one was not working and kept giving an error even on first use. They tried to make every reason that it must have been MY fault.The replacement they gave definitely had previously been used by a ton of smudge marks all over it, and most annoyingly is that it struggles to close properly…but the importance was more if it worked or not. This time, it DID work. However, the “time” interface does not seem to give time properly. It said “06min” for more like 10 minutes before it switched to 05min. Not sure if it doesn’t count down until it gets properly hot or not.With all that being said, even though there is NOT a vegetable setting, using the “shrimp” setting worked wonderfully to making asparagus turn out well. I will update this review when I’ve tried at least chicken wings and brussel sprouts as well, if not also chicken and let people know how it turned out. It smells funky while it’s running, but will see if that also goes away.
