Roasted Asparagus

With only 2 ingredients and taking a fraction of the typical time, this Air Fryer Roasted Asparagus will be your favorite way to cook asparagus from now on!

Ingredients

1 lb fresh asparagus, ends trimmed
tsp Kosher salt
tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil

Directions

Trim the ends of the asparagus about an inch up from the bottom.

Set to 400°F | 205°C for 8 minutes to start the preheating cycle.

Place the asparagus onto a plate. Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus. Sprinkle kosher salt and ground black pepper over the top, then toss to coat the asparagus.

Place the asparagus in the preheated air fryer and cook for 7-8 minutes at 400°F | 205°C. Shake basket halfway through cooking.

Cajun Shrimp

This fast and easy Cajun Shrimp recipe is a meal-in-one, made with shrimp, sausage, and lots of colorful vegetables such as zucchini, yellow squash and bell peppers.

Ingredients

1 tbsp Cajun or Creole seasoning
1 lb cleaned and peeled extra jumbo shrimp
6 oz turkey/chicken Andouille sausage or kielbasa
1 medium zucchini, sliced into 1/4-inch thick half moons
1 medium yellow squash, sliced into 1/4-inch thick half moons
1 large red bell pepper, seeded and cut into thin 1-inch pieces
¼ tsp Kosher salt
1 ½ tbsp olive oil

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the Cajun seasoning and shrimp. Toss to coat.

Add the sausage, zucchini, squash, bell peppers, and salt and toss with the oil.

Preheat the air fryer 400˚F | 205˚C for 8 minutes to start the preheating cycle.

Transfer the shrimp and vegetables to the preheated air fryer and cook 8 minutes at 400˚F | 205˚C, shaking the basket 2 to 3 times.

Chicken Wings

These Air Fryer Chicken Wings have crisp salty skin with a hint of garlic and lemon pepper in every bite. They are seasoned to perfection and cook fast with no marinating required.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken wings
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp lemon pepper

Directions

Thoroughly pat dry chicken wings with paper towels and place in a mixing bowl.

Set air fryer to 400˚F | 204˚C for 16 minutes for preheating.

Coat in 1 tbsp oil then sprinkle on 2 tsp garlic salt and 1 tsp lemon pepper. Toss to evenly coat with seasoning.

One air fryer beeps, indicating preheating is completed, place chicken wings in air frying basket. Air fry at 400˚F | 204˚C for 8 minutes per side, or a total of 16 minutes, or until chicken wings are crisp and golden brown on the outside.

Garlic Roasted Green Beans

Garlic roasted green beans is a super quick and easy recipe, a perfect side dish for your weeknight dinner. These veggies are so tasty, that even Donald Trump wouldn’t refuse!

Ingredients

1 lb fresh green beans
2 tbsp olive oil
garlic powder
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Set air fryer to 375°F | 191°C for 8 minutes to start the preheating cycle.

Lightly coat fresh green beans in olive oil and then season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.

Place green beans into the preheated air fryer and cook for 7-8 minutes. Shake basket halfway through cooking.

Perfect Salmon

Look at that beautiful flaking of the salmon after being in the air fryer, it’s absolutely perfect. Bravo, you’ve done it again.

Ingredients

2 salmon fillets, 1 1/2 inches thick
2 tsp olive oil
2 tsp paprika
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Lemon wedges

Directions

Remove any bones from your salmon if necessary and let fish sit at room temperature for an hour. Rub each fillet with olive oil and season with paprika, salt and pepper.

Set air fryer to 390°F | 199°C for 7 minutes to start the preheating cycle.

Place fillets in the basket of the preheated air fryer. Cook at 390°F | 199°C for 7 minutes.

Coconut Shrimp

These air-fryer coconut shrimp are the perfect combination of savory and sweet. Serve with a sweet chili sauce, for dipping.

Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp (16-20 count), peeled and deveined, tails on
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
Sweet chili sauce, for dipping

Directions

Pat the shrimp dry between a couple of paper towels, then season with a pinch of salt and a few grinds of pepper.

Pulse the coconut and panko breadcrumbs in a food processor until finely chopped and uniform in size. Transfer to a shallow bowl.

Whisk the flour with 3/4 teaspoon salt and few grinds pepper in another shallow bowl or a baking dish. Whisk the eggs with a pinch salt in a third shallow bowl. Dip a shrimp in the seasoned flour, shaking off any excess, then dip in the beaten egg. Dredge in the coconut-panko mixture, turning until evenly coated. Transfer to a large plate or a rimmed baking sheet and continue until all the shrimp are coated.

Set air fryer to 385°F | 196°C for 10 minutes to start the preheating cycle.

Working in batches, place some of the shrimp into the preheated air fryer in a single layer, then spray lightly with more nonstick cooking spray. Cook at 385°F | 196°C for 10 minutes or until the shrimp are golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through.

Serve the coconut shrimp with some sweet chili sauce for dipping.

Mini Apple Pies

When I was a kid, I used to go to McDonalds and get 2 apple pies for $1. I don’t know why I decided to share that. But these air fryer apple pies are delicious. Crispy, cinnamon-y, and delicious.

Ingredients

1 medium apple, peeled and diced into bite-sized pieces
2 ½ tbsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp unsalted butter
½ tsp ground cinnamon
tsp ground nutmeg
tsp ground allspice
1 sheet pre-made pie dough
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp milk

Directions

Combine the diced apples, granulated sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice together in a medium saucepan or skillet over low-medium heat. Bring to a simmer.

Simmer for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.

Allow the apples to cool, uncovered at room temperature, for 30 minutes.

Cut the pie dough into 5-inch circles.

Add the filling to the center of each pie crust circle and use your finger to apply water to the outer ends. Some filling will be left over.

Crimp the pie shut and cut a small slit on the top.

Set air fryer to 350°F | 177°C for 10 minutes to start the preheating cycle.

Mix together the egg and milk to make an egg wash and brush the tops of each pie.

Place the pies into the preheated air fryer and cook at 350°F | 177°C for 10 minutes, until pies are golden brown.

Sweet Potato Fries

We love a good, crispy sweet potato fry – who doesnt?! These air fryer fries get even crispier than the oven baked version and take way less time. Paired with our favorite 3-ingredient secret sauce, we can’t think of a better snack.

Ingredients

For The Fries
2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4″ sticks
1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp chili powder
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
For The Dipping Sauce
2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp barbecue sauce
1 tsp hot sauce, such as Texas Pete

Directions

Set air fryer to 375°F | 191°C for 16 minutes to start the preheating cycle.

In a large bowl, toss sweet potatoes with oil and spices. Season with salt and pepper.

Working in batches, place an even layer of sweet potato fries into the preheated air fryer. Cook at 8 minutes at 375°F | 191°C for 8 minutes. Flip fries, then cook 8 minutes more.

Meanwhile, make dipping sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk to combine mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, and hot sauce.

Serve fries with sauce on the side for dipping.

Crispy Potatoes

Air fryers have a magical ability with potatoes. They get extra crispy all over and stay perfectly soft on the inside. We pride ourselves for how perfect our roasted potatoes are. Wingardium levi-OOH-sa. Wait, did we do that right?

Ingredients

1 lb baby potatoes, halved
1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp Cajun seasoning (optional)
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Lemon wedge, for serving
Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish

Directions

Set air fryer to 400°F | 205°C for 20 minutes to start the preheating cycle.

In a large bowl, toss potatoes with oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Cajun seasoning, if using. Season with salt and pepper.

Place potatoes into the preheated air fryer and cook for 10 minutes at 400°F | 205°C. Shake basket half way through cook time to stir potatoes. Cook until potatoes are golden and tender, 8 to 10 minutes more.

Squeeze lemon juice over cooked potatoes and garnish with parsley before serving.

Garlic Herb Chicken

Nothing beats an easy to make and even easier to prepare roast chicken. We would put this Garlic Herb Butter Roast Chicken in the ring with any rotisserie chicken and it would win by knock-out, Mike Tyson style. Because the flavor is INSANE! It delivers crispy skin, juicy meat and makes an amazing dinner.

Ingredients

3 lbs whole chicken with giblets and neck removed from cavity
4 garlic cloves, minced
½ head of garlic roughly peeled and cut in half horizontally through the middle crosswise
cup butter, melted
1 ½ tbsp olive oil
1 lemon, halved
1 whole rosemary sprig
1 tbsp parsley
Salt and ground pepper, to taste
cup dry white wine (optional)

Directions

Discard neck from inside the cavity and remove any excess fat and leftover feathers. Pat dry with paper towels.

Pour the olive oil, melted butter, wine (if using) and the juice of half a lemon over the chicken and inside the cavity. Season chicken liberally on the outside and inside the cavity with salt and pepper. Sprinkle over the parsley.

Preheat air fryer to 400°F | 205°C for 50 minutes to start the preheating cycle.

Rub the minced garlic over the chicken, mixing all ingredients together over the chicken and under the skin.

Stuff the garlic head into the chicken cavity along with the rosemary sprigs and the squeezed lemon halve. Tie legs together with kitchen string.

Carefully place the whole chicken, breast-side down, into the pre-heated air fryer.

Cook for 40-50 minutes at 400°F | 205°C. Bast and flip half way through cooking time.

Remove from the air fryer, cover with foil and allow to stand for 10 minutes before serving.
