We love a good, crispy sweet potato fry - who doesnt?! These air fryer fries get even crispier than the oven baked version and take way less time. Paired with our favorite 3-ingredient secret sauce, we can't think of a better snack.
For The Fries
2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4" sticks
1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp chili powder
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
For The Dipping Sauce
2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp barbecue sauce
1 tsp hot sauce, such as Texas Pete
1
Set air fryer to 375°F | 191°C for 16 minutes to start the preheating cycle.
2
In a large bowl, toss sweet potatoes with oil and spices. Season with salt and pepper.
3
Working in batches, place an even layer of sweet potato fries into the preheated air fryer. Cook at 8 minutes at 375°F | 191°C for 8 minutes. Flip fries, then cook 8 minutes more.
4
Meanwhile, make dipping sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk to combine mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, and hot sauce.
5
Serve fries with sauce on the side for dipping.
